Flatwork Kings was started originally in 2014 as a social networking group on the popular social media platform Facebook as a platform for concrete contractors to share pictures of their work, share war stories, and more. Will Mattingly, president of Mattingly Concrete in Indianapolis, IN had no idea how popular such a venue could have been. Since then, Flatwork Kings has seen a membership increase to roughly 8,000 strong across not only the United States, but the world too.
Will Mattingly has experience running a residential concrete contracting business in the Midwest that turns about 600-700 projects annually. His passion for helping others in the trade brought him to start the Flatwork Kings Consulting Group. Our hope is to host an annual Mastermind Event featuring speakers from across the country specializing in a wide range of subjects as well as host or perform on site consulting services for construction business owners, managers, and stakeholders.
In the modern tech age, the trades are severely lacking in information and technology sharing. For the betterment of the industry, it is our goal to provide top-end consulting services that launch our clients businesses to the next level of profitability while streamlining messy workloads and processes.

Will Mattingly
Will currently serves as President of Mattingly Concrete located in Indianapolis, IN.
Mattingly Concrete was established in 1987 by his father, Dan Mattingly. In 2014, Will was ushered into operational responsibility of the business after years of working in the field as his mother was gravely ill with cancer and Dan needed to be a full time caretaker. At the time, Mattingly had 5 employees. Will has since purchased the business during these tough times and grown it to more than 50 employees, serving around 600-700 homeowners directly each year during a 10 month concrete season. Their tremendous revenue growth awarded them twice in the last 4 years as Inc. Magazine “INC 5000” honorees and “Indianapolis Business Journal Fast 25” fastest growing business. They are commonly awarded with good service awards and reviews in their local area which Mattingly accredits to good systems and processes that allow people to perform at their peak and at a higher volume.
Mattingly has shared his experiences on the web in social venues as well as at speaking events from Concrete Decor Show to serving on the board of the Decorative Concrete Council.
